My cats....and dog love it!

I absolutely love the fountain itself. The clear design and intent work perfectly, and my cat loves the trickling water that he can easily tell is clean. The unit was easy to put together and very easy to clean. When it is full, it is very quiet. When it starts to empty, you'll hear a telltale trickling water sound to signal that you should fill the unit back up before it goes below max water line.The Cons: The replacement products for this unit are expensive. When cleaning the unit after 3-4 months my pump died. I expected the replacement cost to be reasonable. However, the for the cost of one inferior pump I could have purchased a new water fountain. The pump replacement should not cost half of the cost of the original fountain. Otherwise, you would be buying a new fountain before 6 months just in replacements, and that doesn't financially make sense. I will say that after leaving my review Customer Service did reach out and let me know there was a warranty on the product, and that if I wanted I could get a replacement filter or refund. So, I will give them some stars back for effort.My recommendation: When you go to buy a replacement look for aquarium grade pumps that are far cheaper, come in multipacks, and last much longer. Check their reviews for the quality and length of time the pump lasts. You'll have to adjust the strength of the pump so the stream isn't gushing, but trust me your wallet will thank me later. I did this and haven't had any problems since and don't see myself needing anything other than filter replacements for the next year.Overall, amazing system. Bottom line, get your pumps elsewhere.

Edited Review: I loved the fountain but after being unable to acquire filters for it for several weeks I'm returning the product and getting something else.------------------------------------------------------I've had many, many pet fountains over the years and this one is by far the best. One of my cats will only drink out of a spout and the other will only drink from a pool of water and this fountain caters to both. The clear sides mean I can monitor the water (my pets always seem to put stuff in their fountains and it wouldn't be noticeable how nasty it was until I opened it up), and I can keep it topped up and check the filter without touching anything. It is INCREDIBLY quiet, the quietest I've ever had, and I can't even hear it running. I love that water gathers and then drains through a raised overflow! I'm always scared that a power outtage will leave them without water but they'd easily have two days of water in this case with that design. Below average for cleaning difficulty and even came with a brush to clean the spout. If they could make the same thing but 4 times the size for my big dogs I'd be over the moon.

The best pet water fountain weve ever had. I love how its clear to see the water. All my 3 cats and 2 dogs love it.Im just having trouble trying to find the filter for it. The pump get clogged with hair which wont give a nice flow to the fountain so I notice it and take it apart and wash it. Gives off a noise when water level is to low.I want to buy a bigger one.

cannot purchase correct filters for this product .
